Term and Conditions

1. The special rates are valid for making payments with a credit card and the "Pay Now" option only.
2. This offer does not include Tire Coverage (TW), Theft Protection (TP), Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), or additional services. These can be purchased separately at any Hertz Thailand branch.
3. The privilege cannot be transferred, changed, exchanged, refunded, or redeemed for cash.
4. This offer cannot be combined with other promotional sales programs.
5. Out of office hour service to pick-up a car / return a car during out of office hour is chargeable as THB 1,070 per trip (Included 7% VAT)
6. In the event the renter fails to pick up the vehicle as reserved or wishes to modify the pick-up details, the following terms and conditions shall apply.

• One modification is permitted per reservation, subject to a modification fee of THB 200 per change (inclusive of 7% VAT).
• The renter must inform us of any changes at least 2 days before the scheduled pick-up date by emailing reserve@hertzthailand.com.

Any fees can be paid at the counter when picking up the vehicle.

• The Company will consider requests to change the vehicle pick-up date based on relevant reasons and supporting documents, such as medical certificates, medical documents, flight cancellation or change confirmations, force majeure evidence, or other documents deemed appropriate by the Company. If the reasons are deemed valid, the Company may grant an extension to postpone the pick-up date, provided the new date does not exceed 3 months from the date of the change request. Please note that changing the pick-up date may affect the rental rate. If the new date falls within a period with a higher rental rate than the originally booked period (e.g., from Low Season to High Season), the renter is responsible for paying the difference in fees as determined by the Company.
• The Company does not provide refunds under any circumstances.

7. Deposit: We would like to kindly inform you that the bank has submitted the pre-authorization release of 5,000 THB on xx/xx/xxxx as enclosed. Please inform the customer that the status from now on will have to be checked directly with the credit card issuer. Normally, it will take 14-30 days for the amount to be released, and this would not be shown on statements as it is just a "preauthorized" amount. Our security deposit involves blocking a certain amount on your credit card (not withdrawing funds similor to paying for goods or services).

This is just a temporary hold. After the return of the car and inspection by our staff, we will initiate the process to release the blocked amount. This process may take approximately 14-30 days. The blocked deposit amount will not appear on your statement. You can directly check with your card-issuing bank to confirm if the block has been released.

8. Fixed excess amount of THB 30,000 in the event of total loss from accident to rental vehicle.
9. Returning the rental vehicle to a different branch is allowed for rentals of 3 days or more, subject to the following conditions:

• For rentals of 3 to 4 days, a fee for returning the vehicle to a different branch will be charged based on the specified distance.
• For rentals of 5 days or more, no additional fee will be charged for returning the vehicle to a different branch.
• Please note that vehicles rented from the Nan, Phitsanulok, and Nakhon Si Thammarat branches are not eligible for return to a different branch under any circumstances.

10. All terms and conditions are set by Hertz Thailand, who reserves the right to change them without prior notice.
